Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what personal data HOW TO WIN A/S collects through this website, why, who receives it, and the rights you have. We are the data controller. We never sell personal data.
Who we are
HOW TO WIN A/S, Parkboulevarden 31, 8920 Randers NV, Denmark. CVR 31868440, EU VAT DK31868440. For any privacy question, contact admin@howtowin.it.com or +45 71 41 87 52.
What we collect
Automatically, when you load a page, our hosting server records technical log data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, and browser user-agent. Language is chosen in the page URL (?lang=da) and is not stored in a cookie. If you use the contact form, it prepares an email in your own mail app with your name, company, email, phone (if given), selected practice, indicative budget (if given), optional marketing preference and message. Nothing from the form is stored on this website until you send the email. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence in order to answer you.
Why we use it
Server logs are used for security, operation and troubleshooting (legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Enquiry data is used to reply, prepare a proposal and, only if you tick the optional box, to send occasional insights and updates (consent and/or legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (f)).
Cookies & local storage
This website does not set cookies on a first visit. Language is kept in the URL, not in a session cookie. If you click the light/dark control, the browser stores htw-theme in local storage so the choice you asked for can persist; that value is not set until you click. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not load Google Fonts or other third-party scripts.
Recipients and transfers
We do not sell your data. Recipients are the website hosting provider (server logs and page delivery) and the email provider that receives messages you send to admin@howtowin.it.com. If you click “View on map”, you leave this site for Google Maps under Google’s own terms. We do not send your data to Google or any other third party automatically when you browse this site. If a processor stores data outside the EU/EEA, we require an Article 46 safeguard.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operation, and then deleted. Enquiry correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting work, and to meet Danish bookkeeping rules where they apply. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Theme preference stays in your browser until you clear site data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark (https://www.datatilsynet.dk/). To exercise a right, email admin@howtowin.it.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version.
